Step 3: Schedules
We have manually entered an example version of your schedule. Please take the time to look at the schedules and acquaint yourself with the functions.
There are 4 methods to update your schedules in LiveAboardHub
1. Pipe DSV data exchange (for IT specialists):
This is the most effective, comprehensive and stable way to export your schedules to LiveAboardhub.
Building your own DSV requires some IT experience. Instead of CSV’s (Comma Separated Values) LiveAboardHub uses a vertical bar or pipe (|) separated DSV (Delimiter Separated Values) format. This format reduces the error margins by replacing the usual comma separator (which can also be found inside texts.)
As a further stability measure we have given the most important values (boat names, cabins, routes etc.) unique numerical ID’s. This reduces the risk of human error due to spelling mistakes etc.
A complete guide to utilising the LiveAboardHub DSV Data Exchange can be found in a pre-customised format at https://liveaboardhub.com/fleet/supportImportFilePipeDSVDefinition
2. Supplying existing CSV’s
LiveAboardHub accepts most CSV formats that you have already built to update your schedules on existing display engines (e.g. Scubadates.) Using existing CSV’s will display the basic information necessary to remain current on LiveAboardHub.
Please forward the URL to your existing CSV on your (web)server, and we will prepare it for use on LiveAboardHub. If you (or your IT specialist) are uncertain where to find this then it is generally displayed in the dashboard of existing display engines (example: General Settings → Import CSV-File by Scubadates).
3. Manual update by Fleet owner
You can update your own schedules manually at: https://liveaboardhub.com/fleet/scheduleList
We have designed the system to allow creation and maintenance of trips by the fleet/boat owners independently. If you have any questions then please contact us directly.
4. Manual update by LiveAboardHub staff
If you are a fleet or boat owner and are unable to update your own schedules, it is possible to request that the Liveaboard Hub team update schedules manually for a fee.
To update one boat’s availability weekly is from EUR30 per month.
However, we recommend you update your own schedules to ensure information is as accurate and up to date as possible.
